Hikaru

The white wolf master of Hysteria Manor’s HALLOWED floor.
Reviled and sent for execution by the townspeople who had once loved him, Hikaru has found a new family in the band of villains known as Hysteria.
Despite his sharp fangs and his slitted pupils, Hikaru is a gentle soul who prefers to help instead of hurt. His ferocious appearance belies a calm and responsible heart. Deep down, what Hikaru really wants is a family that will stay with him forever - to this end, he’s decided to pour everything he has into his duty as a Floor Master, collecting souls at the Manor along with the other villains.

Corvus Kuro

The crow-feathered master of Hysteria Manor’s INDOLENCE floor.
A crow who wandered into the human world. He became a mafia leader after accidentally saving the life of the gang’s old boss. Livestreaming is his most recent foray into gathering more followers.
Calm and serious, Kuro tends to keep his emotions close to his chest. He was initially trapped by the Manor to become a Floor Master against his will, but now he’s grown close to the other members of Hysteria and helps them gather souls willingly.
“The night moves at my pace; the world follows at its own risk

Tempo Maou

The demon lord master of Hysteria Manor’s INFERNO floor.
Maou was reincarnated as the king of the underworld after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. Despite the heavy responsibility of his new position, he quickly discovered that he’d rather spend the day lazing around, avoiding his duties, and playing video games.
And the Manor seems to be as good of a place as any to slack off, right? The mischievous Maou has enthusiastically taken the chance to become a Floor Master in order to have a place to hang out while shirking his work. Stealing souls is basically the same, no matter if it’s in the Underworld or otherwise.
“Hope you had a helluva time!”

Anju

The lion-maned master of Hysteria Manor’s DEN floor.
Originally an airship captain who commanded his crew with a bright smile and a fierce heart, Anju spent most of his time gathering new crewmates and meeting fellow adventurers.
Perhaps influenced by his lion heritage, Anju is confident, outgoing, and powerful in everything he does. He’s decided to dock his airship at the Manor after receiving an invitation to become a Floor Master - it’s sinister and cozy, a perfect place to set up a home base for himself and his crew.
“Prove your worth.”

(Describes all of them working together and preparing to send out the letters to the public inviting them to the mansion.)“Don’t you think this kind of heading is too boring? It should have more impact!”“Not everything has to be bright and flashy to be exciting, Maou.”“Well, you only say that because you’re boring, Kuro. All your clothes are black!”“I hope everyone likes the letters. It’ll be good to have new souls at the Mansion again.”“Are you sure you have enough ink, Anju? You seem to be going through it rather quickly.”“Oh… I could use some more. Thanks, Hikaru.”Four men sit around a round table. Each one of them has a stack of letter paper and an inkwell in front of them. They’re penning letters to their next round of victims - human souls who will be invited to take part in Hysteria Manor’s mysterious and deadly games. One of them is white-haired and tall, with a wolf’s head on his shoulder and a tufted pair of pointed ears poking out of his hair. His name is Hikaru. He’s penning letters with a thoughtful look on his face, thinking deeply about what the new humans will be like.“You should focus on your pile,” Hikaru chuckles. “There aren’t any advisors here to shove all your work onto.”There’s a man lounging on the chair next to him. A pair of curved horns juts through the red streaks in his black hair. When he speaks, his sharp fangs flash and glint in the low light. His name is Tempo Maou. Paperwork isn’t his strong suit - he’s ignoring the stack of papers assigned to him on the table.“Hmph, this part is lame. Call me back when the humans get here.” Maou tilts his chair back, grinning casually. “I’ll easily kick all their asses and steal their souls for the Mansion!”Beside him, a blond man with lion’s ears scratches his head, deep in contemplation - he’s thinking about which of the letter recipients might want to join his airship crew. The scar over his nose is clearly visible even in the dim light. His name is Anju. His green eyes gleam with focus.“We have to invite them properly, you know! Without invitations, you won’t have anyone to play with,” Anju chides, signing another letter with a flourish. The last one at the table is a black-haired man with a feather earring. His usually-blank expression is slightly pinched with seriousness as he diligently sorts another stack. His pupils are piercingly grey. His name is Kuro. He frowns and looks across the table.“You should act more responsible in front of our guests, Maou. They’re fighting for their lives, you know,” Kuro says.Maou rolls his eyes. “Who cares? They knew the risks going into this. If we win, we get their souls - if they win, they get to make their deepest desire into reality.” He sticks his tongue out and grins. “Just try to keep up with me this time. I farmed way more than you, Kuro.”“Don’t fight,” Hikaru sighs, folding one more piece of paper and slipping it into an envelope. “We want to make sure our guests have a good time, right?”Maou laughs. “Oh, they’ll have a good time, alright. We’re the villains of Hysteria. They’ll be having so much fun that they’ll be screaming for more.”Kuro gives a put-upon sigh - Anju laughs. “I pity the players who’ll end up challenging your floor, Maou!”Their friendly chatter fades away, full of gruesome discussion about the devious plans they each have for their awaited guests. One letter slips through someone’s fingers and flutters to the ground. It sits there, innocuous, waiting to be picked up again - waiting to be mailed out and received by a lucky challenger who will be invited to test their skills, at risk of losing their soul, at the infamous Hysteria Manor. And… oh? How interesting.
Reading the cursive letters on the front shows that this envelope is addressed… to you?
